Intelius Dedicated to Its Charitable Activities
Intelius, one of the leading U.S. companies in the information commerce industry, makes every effort to become the best neighbor in the community, recognizing the difference they can make in the lives of people in need. Since Naveen Jain founded the company in 2003, Intellius has integrated philanthropy into its core values, contributing to nonprofit organizations focused on programs that meet the basic needs of families, the youth, and the entire community such as healthcare, education, employment, and housing. In 2008, Intelius made a generous contribution of nearly $210,000 to more than 12 nonprofit local and national organizations. On top of its financial support, Intellius also encourages its employees to extend their volunteering efforts to charitable organizations. Two of the organizations that have benefited from Intelius’ charitable activities are: Boys & Girls Clubs of Bellevue – This organization carries the mission of “enabling the young people, especially those in need, to reach their full potential as productive, caring, and responsible citizens.” To accomplish this goal, the organization provides an excellent set of programs while making sure that the youth are in a positive, safe, and fun environment. The Health & Life Skills program includes conflict resolution, financial awareness and competencies, and cooking classes. The Education & Career Development program involves technology exposure, homework assistance, and literacy program. The organization also offers programs related to sports, fitness and recreation, the arts as well as character and leadership development. Seattle Children’s Hospital – Established in 1907, this medical institution provides exemplary patient care services through its state-of-the-art facilities. The hospital also strives to make children feel welcome and at ease through its non-hospital smell, beautiful aquarium tanks, and amazing replicas of African Sahara animals. Additionally, Seattle Children’s Hospital provides 24/7 emergency care and a well-equipped surgery center. The hospital also provides innovative treatment in 54 pediatric specialties.
