Leisure Trip to St. Lucia
Leisure travelers have never had it as good as we did in the Caribbean. We booked a luxury trip to the Lesser Antilles, which is known for its beautiful destinations. This time round we chose to visit St. Lucia. I had heard a lot about the spas in St. Lucia and wanted to visit one of them. We opted to stay in a resort which did not have its own spa and instead visited the spas in the area. This way we were not restricting ourselves to any one spa, but were able to experience what different spas in St. Lucia had to offer to leisure travelers.
There were a number of options as far as accommodations are concerned in St. Lucia. We booked ourselves into a private villa, which was really luxurious. This villa was rented out specifically to adult leisure travelers looking for a pleasurable stay. It had all the amenities possible such as a private butler, a chauffeured car to take us around, and a personal maid. We didn’t have to lift a single finger as the entire staff was at our beck and call and catered to our every need in an unobtrusive manner.
We spent the first two days at the villa and generally lazed around at the pool. The next three days were spent in three different day spas in the area. Our chauffer took us to some of the best spas on the island and we indulged in a number of rejuvenating treatments. They had special packages for leisure travelers that were really good and we opted for three different packages on three different days.
We dined out in the best restaurants in St. Lucia and partied till the wee hours of the morning. One day was kept aside for shopping and I managed to pick up loads of gifts to take back home. Overall a great trip I would say.
