A new Web site has been created that will provide reviews of online poker rooms across the world. PokerSite.org claims it will review hundreds of online poker rooms based on competition, the support response times, and special features that each room offers. PokerSite.org also said it would provide readers with biographies of major online and offline poker players.
Besides just the full rankings of all of the reviewed online poker rooms, there are also specialized rankings for different types of poker players based on heir geography. The Online Poker Guide shows you what sites are best based on your location, including USA Poker Sites, UK Poker Sites, and European Poker Sites. Then, the Poker Site Rankings judges things such as the Best Poker Bonuses, the Easiest to Beat Poker Sites, and the best Poker VIP Rewards Programs.
Who knows if this site will become popular or successful, as many Web sites come and go like restaurants in Manhattan. There may even be other sites that provide the same service, and I have no idea what criteria they will use to judge poker rooms, or how many people will be judging (one person, a committee?)
But it does take an entreprenurial spirit to launch a project such as this, so for that I say good luck and we’ll see what happens.
